There should be a compelling intro here about how the ever-expanding collection of memes online include some great property management memes. I could even go into the backstory of what memes are, or what property management is, for that matter. But chances are you’ve already skipped over this paragraph to look at the memes about property management. And you’ll skip the next.
The Beginning
The job of a Property Manager was one of the first careers to get the “What People Think I Do / What I Really Do” meme treatment, just a few days after the first instance was spotted on Facebook in February 2012. Since then, the meme theme has been ridiculously overused – like the response “I’ve been putting out fires all day.” Still, I can appreciate just about any meme that incorporates Don Knotts.

Not all user-created “SomeEcards” are created equal. But this one is about property management, so it’s worth sharing, right? And while I agree that signing lease files isn’t the best part of a property manager’s job, it certainly isn’t the worst.
Keep Calm Memes
If you’ve been on more than one Facebook page or Pinterest board lately, you’ve likely come across a variation of the “Keep Calm” re-purposed motivational poster. And while the creators of the original WWII motivational poster would likely be rolling in their graves at seeing how many knock-offs have been created (Keep Calm and Follow Me on Instagram? Really?!), you can understand its popularity. We even found this one on a t-shirt.

The Most Interesting Man in The World Memes
Dos Equis beer probably didn’t suspect their hit ad campaign “The Most Interesting Man in The World” would make actor Jonathan Goldsmith the “I don’t always…” guy. But thanks to the meme, Mr. Goldsmith has been blanketing the web with advice on how to do things correctly. As should come as no surprise, the most interesting man in the world has some suggestions on property management.
